Sydney Airport T1 Foodcourt Washroom features the following RBA products:

Sydney Airport’s Terminal 1 International in Mascot, NSW is one of Australia’s busiest transport hubs, welcoming millions of passengers each year. As part of a major upgrade to the T1 Food Court, with further improvements continuing through to 2026, the washroom facilities required fixtures that could withstand constant use while delivering durability, hygiene, accessibility and a premium, modern aesthetic.

RBA Group was engaged to supply high-performance, commercial-grade washroom solutions to support the refurbishment and meet the operational demands of this high-traffic international environment.

The specification included Koala Kare stainless steel baby change stations (KB310-SSRE and KB311-SSRE), featuring a Type 304 stainless steel outer shell engineered to support up to 90kg with no measurable deflection, along with Microban® antibacterial protection in the bed surface to help reduce odour-causing bacteria.

RBA’s stainless steel shower track and curtain system (RBA4177-120 and RBA4177-999-001) was installed to support accessible bathroom compliance, offering adjustable ends for simplified installation and maintenance while ensuring visual cohesion throughout the space.

Within the amenities, Bobrick’s B35633 recessed stainless steel waste receptacle with door conceals waste to maintain a clean appearance and features an 11.4L capacity with a tumbler lock for added security, reducing servicing frequency in this demanding setting.

Complementing this, the Bobrick B2116 heavy-duty clothes hook, a one-piece brass casting with a satin finish, is designed to withstand up to 136kg of downward force, providing a secure and vandal-resistant solution for passengers’ belongings.

The Sydney Airport T1 Food Court project demonstrates how considered product selection and coordinated specification deliver long-lasting, compliant and low-maintenance outcomes in some of Australia’s most demanding public environments, reinforcing RBA Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting major infrastructure projects nationwide.
